As a young child, this was my favorite book. I suppose it might hint at my sense of humor, as the comics dreamed up by Graham Wilson definitely veer toward an ironically eerie edge. I’ve always loved to sketch and paint, and these days painting is where I find the most bliss.

Nature inspires my search for new colors, which I try to match through watercolor and gouache paint.

Ode to Creative Heroines & Heroes

This tryptic is in progress as a miniature series, to be painted with acrylic as a larger series. The colors are combinations I’ve collected from nature, and the shapes are inspired by some of my heroines and heroes, including: Saul Bass, Henri Matisse, Ray Eames, Peter Gee, Orla Kiely, Paul Rand and Mark Rothko.
